Hi, my name is Richard Hammond and I'm a New York City-based bass player. I'm originally from New Zealand - a proud Kiwi! Since arriving in New York, I've been really fortunate to play with a wide array of amazingly talented artists and producers, across a fairly broad musical spectrum. I play both Electric and Acoustic Bass, and I love 'em equally. I have done a good amount of touring nationally and internationally with some incredible musicians. Over the years I've been lucky enough to stay really busy - achieving a good balance of touring, gigging in NYC, and recording.
